MEASURE WITH CONFIDENCE
- Label each window. Record room, window number, blind style, operation and preferred inside or outside mount in the order notes.
- Measure in one unit. Use a metal tape. Record width and height in inches, cm or mm; do not mix units in one group. Width always comes first.
- For an inside mount: record the opening width at top, middle and bottom; height at left, centre and right; and available recess depth. Keep all readings and note handles or trim.
- For an outside mount: record the opening and the intended finished coverage. Check clear mounting space above and beside the opening.
- Submit raw measurements. Do not deduct clearance or guess fabric-to-bracket allowances. Use the smallest opening width and largest height for a preliminary inside-mount estimate, and include all readings in notes. Exact order dimensions and product-specific depth/overlap requirements must be confirmed before approval.
- Install to the supplied instructions. Use fixings suitable for the wall material. Check obstructions and motor power requirements; arrange qualified help when needed. Keep operating cords safely managed.
This measuring guide supports an estimate. Bracket dimensions, installation clearances and final manufacturing measurements depend on the approved product. We confirm these before production.
